Ive noticed that when I use the system restore disk that came with my A70 the computer installs over 35 + processes on to the system.

Then when install from a personal copy of windows XP I get much less processes until I install the power manager and wifi.

So, I guess is there any good but less process intensive drivers for wifi and power management??

    Thanks,

    Keith

    Keith,

Usually when you install the drivers/software provided by the manufacturer, it may contain addition utilities that you don't need. Mainly for WiFi, you can just use the drivers from the Intel website (if you have an Intel WiFi card) and that should do the trick. Regarding Power Management, why do you need to install Toshiba's software, just let XP control the power management features. If you want to use Toshiba's drivers/software, then the installation of additional processes should be expected.
