Hello:
I'm pulling my hair out on this one and any assistance is greatly appreciated.
I've got an L300D PSLC0C Satellite, with Vista home on it, I've wiped it off and installed XP PRO with SP3. I've done all the appropriate updates and went to the various Toshiba sites and obtained the appropriate drivers.
I'm having a problem with the wireless WI FI drivers. I have a Atheros AR5007EG wireless adapter and I've installed the latest drivers; but, I keep getting SM Bus Controller error and I cannot connect. I've also got a realtek RTL8102E PCI-E Ethernet NIC, that seems to be fine. When I connect it to my router I have no problems. The Display is ATI Radeon Xpress 1200 and I've using the Omega drivers, all is fine.
I've also tried different versions of the driver; but, still no luck, am I missing something????
Thanks

Try a bios update if you can find one.
Also there is an SMbus controller driver that you can download from intel. -
