    anybody know where i could get a program where i could directly control the fan speed of the cpu/gpu? rivatune, ntune, and speedfan wont work for me.

    my mistake...just that i was thinking that some of the "power" users from the toshiba portion of this forums wouldnt see it if i didnt post it here, and i would like their advice.

    For XP there is Toshiba Power Saver but don't seem to work with Vista I believe, there is really program that can do it. In Vista if you goto the advanced power settings, there is a cooling method, but if you have on other than maximum performance, your CPU will down clock.

    nothing in there that will let me directly control the speed of the fans...at a minimum, i want to be able to set my fans (gpu and cpu) to always run at a 60% load even if the computer is at idle. and then throttle up to 100% load when playing stuff like crysis and cod4. my main point of concern is the cpu fan. right now its at 63 C and i havent done anything more than open up firefox, browse, and instant message someone. this is with no cpu/gpu overclocking. gpu is sitting at 46C right now.
