Given the model/part number of a screen e.g. Toshiba US LTD121KA0S

Is it possible to know any laptops, even a few models - doesn't have to be all. Even one or two laptops, that use it?

You probably want to give the part number to Toshiba technical support and they most likely could tell you which line of their product uses that part number.

    funnily enough they cannot.

they don't seem to have any kind of link on their system between part numbers and model numbers.

they might also have issues 'cos it's an old part. But it looks like they don't have that information generally anyway. linking the model number of a screen (which by the way - if you have to speak their language- they insist is not a model number, they will only call it a part number), with the model number of a laptop. They have two departments, the Tech team that know laptop model numbers, and the parts team that should know parts numbers. But linking the model number of the laptop and the model/part number of the screen, they don't have that in their system!
