I want to pruchase my first laptop. I see Circiut City has A65 S126 for 699.00 after rebates. Should I take this plunge? This is right in line with my budget. Was about to get a Dell 1000 for same price, when I saw this with tons more features(including built in wireless) Is Toshiba a good buy? My needs are email, internet and carrying it around in my service truck to pop in CDs with manuals on them to review in field and if staying out overnite to be able to connect to internet to read company email and connecting to my home wirless network. Thanks.

The A65 uses a Celeron CPU. These are not really know for excellent battery life. If you're gonna be on the road a lot using this notebook, I'd probably recommend getting a Pentium M notebook. You can expect 3+hrs of runtime on one of these units. I guess you always could get a power converter for your truck, that way you can work on the computer as long as you got power in your truck. Otherwise, this unit is fine for your needs.
