    Hi,

I have a satellite a665-6065 attached to an external samsung syncmaster t260hd. I want to use the external monitor as the only display. If the computer starts up with the monitor attached it will auto-select the external monitor and use it as the only display just like I want it to. However, if the laptop sleeps, upon wake-up it will go back to just the laptop lcd display, and I have to either manually (fn-f5) reselect the external display or unplug and plug back in the display cable. Same problem whether hooked up by vga or by hdmi.

Obviously I could disallow the laptop from sleeping, but I would like to allow it to do so to save energy. Any ideas on how to fix this? Much appreciated.
