I have a Toshiba A25-S3072 Laptop and when I remove the battery and try to run it from the AC power cord it won't start up. When I put the battery back in it starts up then I get a critically low battery message that says to run it on AC power but it won't start up (only with the battery installed)
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

It sounds like the AC adaptor is faulty, or the notebook charging circuit, the battery has most likely just went flat without the AC adaptor to charge it.

You need to try another AC adaptor

Actually, it's a new AC Power supply.

My uncle is having the same exact problem, he even bought a new AC adapter and battery, but all I could find online was that there is a faulty or broken connection to the motherboard from the power input socket. So I think that just needs to be re soldered. Were going to try to fix this tonight, I hope someone with more info see this thread and knows a solution.

No one else has posted here, but in case the OP checks back it was the power supply, I opened it up and resoldered the connection, I can show you pictures if you need them, but I think that's what your problem is.
