Is anyone that owns an x305 or x300 using laptopvid2go drivers? I tried once but lost my ability to game on battery without "downclocking" and had to use system restore to gain that ability back.

When I did, I tried using the 178.13 drivers and it did increase the 3dmark06 score. So I'm really itching to use one of the drivers to increase performance but want to know how I can keep the notebook from "downclocking".

Hi jacob... Use any driver from there... What you need to do to keep gaming on battery is a registry edit... Search for "disable powermizer tested" here in the forum... There's a post that explain what to do... Im using 178.24 right now without losing performance using battery...

I thought about that but when I went to the registry to change the perflevelsrc I couldn't find such a string. So I'm wondering did you change the settings in your registry and is there a perflevelsrc to be found. Or 178.24 drivers doesn't need to be tweaked at all. One more thing I have the x305 and I noticed that on the x205 sli1 I had the perlevelsrc not with the x305 but still on the x205 even with the registry tweaks it would still down clock.
