    lcd doesnot work(a100) ..please kindly help :(((

    Hi I have a tioshiba a100,in the morning I opened the laptop and after closing it..my lcd is compltely black ..but my laptop works now I am using my laptop with ext. monitor.

    I opened my laptop because I wanted to remove a small memory card in another memory card place.when I insert the card ,windows hanged and I removed the battery.
    would you please help me?? Is any cable unplugged in my laptop but I dont think so.

    It didnot work...

    but I think there si white socket which connect the LCD to the laptop under the security guard of keybord...It is not toght enogh and I should tight it by replacing it.

    Does anybody have any idea?? How can I remove security guard of keybord in a100?? there was not instruction of it in this forum,,

    Have you checked our dissasembling thread here? I would also try hooking your notebook up to an external screen and see if it works.

    Hi....

    I couldnot find disassemblying way for satellite a100-sk4..
    it works with ext. monitor.. Fn-f5 and other keys dont work.
