[ :)] Yes! You can use a wireless card with this laptop.

I own a Toshiba M35X-S109 laptop (a BestBuy Black Friday Sale) and I am using a D-Link 802.11G PCMCIA card with it. It works great. The D-Link Software was a bit tricky but D-Link has great tech support to help you with these installs.

I am very happy with this laptop.

    Ohio Micheal,
I also got this laptop from BestBuy (Columbus) Black Friday in-store deal, but they have given me openbox item. Did you received your laptop box in factory seal ? I will appriciate if you reply me at "kintesh_patel at yahoo dot com" as my 14 days is ending on this thursday.

    Thank You.

I'm not too thrilled about the M--X models ( or any satellite ) , Toshiba quality dropped and I truely wish they would make something like my 1410 again with newer specs and design .

What inycaznkid meant was mini pci not pcmcia , for that you need to flip the laptop and check for service covers ( mine got one for this ) .

Another sign is a wireless switch , if you got one there is probably a place you can to stick it in ( maybe internaly ) .

My brand new m30x didn't really please me as it was dead out of the box. The battery wouldn't charge while the unit was powered on, so I returned it, and now I am getting one of the business line models, the Tecra M2. Hopefully this doesn't displease as well.

Let us know how the Tecra works out for you, I've been reviewing and reading up on all these notebooks for so long 1) my head is spinning, and 2) they all gotta be the same, because the specs are the same in tons of them, along with the prices. Tosh, GW, Dell, Avartec, CPQ and HP all make the SAAAAAME stuff........... at about the SAAAAAAME price.

I got the display unit for black friday after all the rest were long gone, which is likely what you got, but all I got of the box was the upc code. I went back within the two weeks and got a $50 credit for buying a display item.

How did you get your wireless pc card to work when that model Toshiba does not apear to have a wireless antenna switch? I you know the answer, that would be great!
