I have a Toshiba M40, and I've treated it with extreme care. Unfortunetly I guess the way I have been putting the laptop in and out of my side bag might have caused damaged to the screen but I'm not sure. When I tilt my screen down (its actually noticeable at all angles, just most prominant when at extreme angles) theres a big dark spot along the top. Its actually somewhat aroudn where my fingers might hold on to the laptop when pulling out of the bag (stupid.. dont know why I put it in and pull it out of my bag that way). Is this dark region due to pressure on the screen? I've been paranoid about the screen ever since I bought it since its made of plastic.

    Anyone else have this problem?

I don't think there's anything to worry about. It's possible you never noticed it before. There's usually some pressure points in brand new notebooks. I've seen this in a lot of different brands. If it's noticable looking at it straight on, rather than at an angle, then there's a problem.
