    my monitor freezes

    hi,my monitor freezes and when i hit it,it returns to normal,plz help me to solve this proplem

    When you say monitor, do you mean the LCD on your notebook or an actual external monitor? What type of notebook is this (model)? The one thing I can think of that is causing a freeze, and when hit, unfreezes is the video connection. It's possible the video cable is loose or the connection to the video card has become loose. It's probably best to send in for service and have them take a look at it. If you want to try fixing it yourself, you will have to take apart the LCD casing and possibly even the top cover to get to the video card connection (depending on the unit). This is definitately not something you should try if you don't know much about disassembling this notebook or notebooks in general.
