well, here's the problem : a few days ago i installed windows vista. yesterday i was testing some drivers, and a program to flash the bios. i didn't use it (i mean, i didn't press the "flash bios" button) and in one point the keyboard stop working. i tried to reboot but it never pass the "saving settings" screen. i tried to turn the laptop off but as i said before the keyboard and all the keys where off. all of them, including the power button. i left the laptop to lose all the battery cause i was afraid of removing the battery.

now when i turn on the laptop, i got nothing. no boot screen, no toshiba logo, nothing. no disk activity (except for the dvd trying to boot or something), no sounds.

    PLEASE HELP !!!

A number of problems could be present in the notebook. First, try and start the notebook on AC power only, without the battery. If that doesn't work, then it is probably a motherboard problem, which is a costly fix. If your still under warranty, then Toshiba should be able to replace or repair the notebook. I hope this helps.

If the notebook doesn't start, then it means there are very little options to go through. Its very difficult to diagnose the problem, when this is the case. Are you still under warranty?

so the laptop powers on, but you get no video?

If this is the case then it sounds to me like a hardware issue (assuming you didnt run the bios update utility).

Since hthe laptop is under warranty still I would just contact Toshiba and have it repaired. No sense in voiding your warranty trying to repair it yourself.
