    its a Satellite S1800.. .. when i turn on the power button, it turns green but am not seeing no POST n BOIS... not even the Toshiba screen.. .. help..

    Has it worked correctly before? I've seen this in computers before when there has been a motherboard failure (essentially with the power to the board). It sounds like a trip to the nearest Toshiba premier service center is in order.

    Most likely not - it sounds like you probably either have a busted screen or video card. I would try hooking up your notebook to an external screen to see if you get any video feed from the GPU.

    I agree about hooking it up to an external monitor to see if it displays before deciding on the motherboard being the problem. Do you see anything at all on the screen (white glow, fain image)?

    i tried this already but nothing happens. i think is the motherboard that's not good

    the last i put it on, it showed me the toshiba name, and after that nothing happen
