I've seen this question asked a few times on different forums but never received a good answer: When my nb205 gets under 10% battery, its makes a beeping sound about every twenty seconds. No changes to any sounds settings, windows settings, or power management settings fix this at all. It also **seems** like the beeping isn't coming from the regular speaker, rather maybe from another piece of hardware, but I'm not sure. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this beeping?

Maybe it's a setting within the BIOS... have you tried looking in there to see if there is an option to turn off the system beep?

Unfortunately, I've checked and there is no option in the BIOS to turn off this beeping. Any other ideas?

Are you referring to the low battery notification? There is nothing in those settings regarding beeping...Also, I'm using Windows 7 starter, not Vista.

I've turned off the low battery notification, and the beeping continues. Any other ideas?
