hi all, i have a bit of a problem. my friend recently formatted her laptop's hard drive and reinstalled windows. unfortunately, this windows xp (SP1) doesn't seem to have the necessary drivers to support the hardware of her laptop (toshiba satellite a40). she also no longer has the toshiba driver installation cd.

where can i find the drivers online? when i go to device manager, it says that the ethernet controller, something like base controller and the video card do not have drivers installed, so i'm looking for these drivers in particular.

i tried going to toshiba's website and looked at the drivers there, but they mostly seem to be updates and nothing seems to be available for the ethernet controller.

does anyone have any ideas? thanks.
