    net framework and toshiba laptop

    Hi,

    I have a Toshiba 5105-S501 Satellite Notebook.
    it has windows xp home with sp-2.

    everytime i have tried to install Net Framework 1.0 or 2.0, it will install fine, but then with 1-2 days, the laptop stops functioning as it did prior to the install.

    it gets extremely sluggish, programs that did work, stop working and somethings just will not load, they seem to hang.

    has anyone experienced this? did anything seem to resolve the problems?
