I have a Satellite P35-S6053 running XP SP2 Build 2600. I have used the SD slot on a regular basis to download camera photos. I recently bought 2 2GB SD cards. They both work fine in my camera but will not load into the Satellite. They don't show up under "My Computer" They don't exist in Explorer and they sometimes cause the system to hang up. The system still reads my 256 MB cards with no problem.
I have contacted Toshiba and all they can suggest is that I download a BIOS upgrade. Been there, Done that......(Version 1.40 9/3/05 SMBIOS 2.31) same problem. I also tried to find SD related upgrades on the Toshiba site, but still can't read my 2 GB SD.
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
