Seriously - Make sure that the Powersupply is plugged into a "working" (verified) surge protector which in turn is plugged into a "working" (verified) power outlet in the wall of the house or cubical.

If you verified the power source is "live" then remove the batter from the laptop and plug it in. Do you see the power light on the laptop? Will it power on? Try putting battery back into the laptop - Does the power light on the laptop come on? Does the battery light come on? What color is the battery light?

If you don't see any lights and the laptop does not come on with or without the battery, it is possible the powersupply is bad. This assumes you have verified that the power source (at the wall) is working.

    Good Luck...
