    looking for opinions on the toshiba satellite notebooks

    what are the pros and cons and would you recommend purchasing one?

    buying a laptop to use mostly for school and projects but also for occasional gaming

    - Features and price are fairly decent.
    - Overall quality is lower than other brands (HP & IBM)
    - Their Satellite line is their consumer product line, I'd recommend getting the Tecra series, but it may lack in the gaming area as the video cards are not that powerful (on some).
    - Personally, I'd go with a different brand.
