Have any other satellite users have had this problem?
My cord where it connects to the laptop is loosing up to the point of
flopping off the computer with very little movement. I sent the laptop in to the depot and the problem was fixed for about a month or so and now it is loose again. Looks like a defective design. What will Toshiba do to fix the problem.

is it the cord or the plug in the notebook? if its the cord look for a targus universal ac adapter we have them and paid around 20$ for refurbished ones and they work great. if its the plug in the actual notebook it will have to go back to toshiba unless you want to pull the motherboard out and re solder it to the board

Thanks, It appears to be that the plug on the motherboard loosens up.
This is the four time I have sent it in to get fixed.
I wonder who I could contact about getting a new laptop replacement.
    This ones a lemon.

you would call toshiba. but good luck getting another one hate to say that but normally it takes a whole lot of effort to do so. toshiba has been good to me for a long time now but i also have not really had to use the warranty much at all. if it was me after i got it back i would take the unit apart and use a hardening type of silicone like automotive goop and cover the area where the ac plug is soldered to the board. id glob it all over that area making sure to get it good and glued down to the motherboard etc... and let it dry overnight and re-assemble it. that auto goop dries pretty solid and should hold it for a while.
