I just got my brand new toshiba satellite p105 s9337. Even though its marketed as a gaming laptop it has horrible stuttering problems while gaming in vista. Even WoW drops to the single digits, no matter what the settings!

    The solution:
Dual boot xp (better performance) and vista (better looks)

All you need to do is shrink the partition, create a new one and install xp, but the biggie is the xp drivers. After about 4 hours calling various tech support sites and web searching I managed to find all the drivers for xp minus the sound from toshibas support site by looking at the the previous versions of the computer. In order to get the sound working, you need to extract and run the .inf from the driver, presumably using winrar, from there you manually install it with the device manager, restart and boom sound. After getting all the drivers, things, working, etc.... download Vista Boot Pro and configure your boot screen.

BTW: This notebook is not for the average consumer better said "gamer" and only with extensive research, backround info and outside help can you get it truly functioning.
