    new here.

    first laptop.

not a genius with computers but i know a bit.

laptop is about a month old.

in that time the screen has gone black about 5 times. happened twice today.
you can still hear it running but it won't respond to anything. the only way to get it working again is to remove and replace the battery then restart.

has anyone else experienced this or what?

bought it at best buy. got the warranty on it but i really can't be without it for 6 weeks if it's sent back

    any ideas
