hi, i have a Toshiba A 40 231 notebook with a DVD R/RW drive. My desktop pc has two hard drives with one 80 and the other 120 GB. What i wonder is that can i plug the hard drives into the notebook using a specially designed adapter or any other kit so that i can transfer the data stored in them into a DVD-R? Thanks.

If you remove the drives you can put them in a case that will connect via USB to your notebook. Or...you could just share your drives over the network.

Networking between the two computers would be much easier in this case (and cheaper in the long run) than using DVD+-Rs. If you have XP on either or both machines, the OS sets up the desired network for you through a wizard.
