l bought a second handed portege 3490ct with windows ME installed, and it is said to have the speed of p3 700, but when l opened dxdiag and msinfo32, used software like wcpu, they all show p3 500, l already set the cpu speed to High, and disabled the cpu sleep mode, used adapter instead of the battery, but nothing changed, when l set the cpu speed to low, the cpu speed lowered to around p3 250....., so what is the problem?
