hey everybody, I recently upgraded from windows XP to windows vista, and I am having a few problems. I have a toshiba satellite A100. my first problem is that I don't have the option of turning down the monitor brightness anymore, I tried in the power saver utility offered by windows vista but I'm not having any luck. Second, my function keys don't work anymore, I tried installing the driver from the toshiba website but I get an error when installing it so it won't install, I also tried installing it in safe mode but that doesn't work either. any help would be much appreciated

Try loading if you haven't already. ACPI Toshiba Utility - Toshiba ACPI Common Modules for Windows XP/2000. Go to Toshiba support page.
You may also want to try these also - Toshiba Hotkey Utility for Windows XP/2000 - Toshiba Utilities for Windows XP. Do the ACPI first.
