Does anyone have a list of the bloatware that comes on the Q77503dv78... and preferably, a list of what can be safely removed? I'm expecting the laptop to be delivered this afternoon and I'd like to have some idea of what's safe to remove and what isn't.

    Thanks in advance.

It's very minimal. I know some that I removed through add/remove programs:

    Amazon.com links
    Toshiba App Place
    Toshiba Book something
    Norton BS
    Windows Live
    Windows Live Mesh ActiveX Plugin

There were probably a few more than this, but it wasn't much more. Aside from Norton and Windows Live, most of the bloat is just internet shortcuts. The rest of the Toshiba stuff you're going to want to keep, but all the bloat is pretty intuitive on what it does, so remove what you don't want.

Minimal is good. Should be here in a few hours, and I'll write more about it once I've had a bit of time with it. I'll put up a "first impressions" review sometime this weekend and a more detailed review after a few weeks. Given how much time will be required just to do all the MS updating, not to mention installing games and updating those (stupid MMORPGs), I'm sure it'll be Sunday before I'm ready to do the "first impression".
It would be fantastic if manufacturers would figure out that we don't want, and in my case would pay a few extra bucks, to NOT have to deal with the bloatware. (I know, I know, fantasy land).
