well, i got a qosmio last week and it's gorgeous!

after turning it off, i always like to clean it :)

when i clean the hotkeys panel (left side - touchsreen)

it always turns on the laptop.

anyway to prevent this from happening?

This is caused by ESD (electrostatic discharge). My Toshiba Satellite A665-S5177X does the same thing. It's really an annoyance more than anything. I cannot say for sure with out a schematics to see if they include protection for this to avoid any circuit problems, but I cannot imagine the engineers at Toshiba wouldn't.
