Looks like it. Toshiba specs show it o be a250GB 4200rpm HDD...

It is possible to get a 250GB, 5400rpm hard-drive, e.g., Western Digital offers the following notebook internal HDD with 250GB at 5400rpm: http://www.westerndigital.com/en/products/Products.asp?DriveID=314
However, according to Toshiba's own spec sheet, http://cdgenp01.csd.toshiba.com/content/product/pdf_files/datasheet/satellite_A215-S4757.pdf , the A215-S4757 carries a 4200rpm hard drive
Thus, it would appear to be the case that the officedepot.com ad contains a typo. -
it could be or officedepot could have ordered it in that configuratoin..ya think?

and Toshiba: http://cdgenp01.csd.toshiba.com/content/product/pdf_files/datasheet/satellite_A215-S4757.pdf#
and since Office Depot comes up as a listed retailer when I click on the "other ways to buy" link from the Toshiba webpage for this model, see: http://www.toshibadirect.com/td/b2c/howtobuy.to
(although it should be kept in mind that this appears to be a general list for many Toshiba models, not just this one in particular; nonetheless, it inferentially supports the conclusion that the model available from officedepot.com is the same as the one with the detailed spec sheet showing a 4200rpm 250GB HDD).
Interestingly, looking through the Toshiba website, it does not appear to be the case that Toshiba makes a 250GB HDD for notebooks (2.5" HDD); although the website does list a 200GB 2.5" HDD, the rotational speed listed for that drive is 4,200 rpm, see: http://sdd.toshiba.com/main.aspx?Path=HardDrivesOpticalDrives/2.5-inchHardDiskDrives/MK2035GSS
That suggests that Toshiba is using third-party drives for the A215 series, at least for the S4747, which appears to have a 200GB HDD at 5,400rpm, and the S4757, which appears to have a 250GB HDD at 4,200rpm.
Just to add further fuel to the fire, a review on tomshardware.com states that, as of June 2007, Toshiba's 200GB notebook HDD also only rotates at 4,200 rpm. See: http://www.tomshardware.com/2007/06/04/wd_brings_250_gb_hdds_to_notebooks/
At any rate, unless someone here is willing to call up Office Depot, and spend the time and frustration trying to reach someone there who has actual technical knowledge of the A215-S4757, the best conclusion seems to be that it is unlikely that the officedepot.com listing of the A215-S4757 with an HDD with a rotational speed of 5,400rpm is, in fact, incorrect, and that the real speed of that HDD is 4,200rpm.
