i'm looking at an sli 5 on ebay, however the sellers description is not always consistent. for example, he refers to the graphics card as the 8600m gt. now the 8600m gt is a completely different (according to notebookcheck) card from the 8600m gt sli. now i was assuming that since this is an sli notebook it would be the better card, but i don't want to deal with having to return if it is just the 8600m gt.
even on newegg it is not exactly clear for the sli 5, says 8600m gt in the title...
Item=N82E16834114470, sorry can't put in urls
the price is extremely right, but i am a little cautious about getting jerked around. any input would be helpful, and as far as sli notebooks are concerned, i know there are different builds (sli1, 3, etc.) but would the build within the sli 5 name itself be able to differ so much? i mean the sellers description agrees with all other specs of newegg version sli 5 (aside for HDD being 7200rpm, his says 5400 rpm for some reason). i know this is all dependant on the seller, but i really appreciate the help, thanks.

The 8600m gt sli is not a different GPU, it is just two 8600m GT in sli [google "sli"]. There is no Toshiba x205 with only one 8600m GT.
