Hey guys, i just installed windows7 rtm on my r500 and i downloaded the windows 7 drivers from the toshiba support site, but my transflective button still doesnt work (the button on the top right). I press it and it just brings up options to switch to dual display, duplicate display etc.
Has anyone got it working under windows 7?
Cheers

nevermind got it working,
You just have to edit the presentation button in the button configuration tool.
Register it to C:\Program Files\TOSHIBA\TBS\Backlight.exe
works fine now -
got the same problem. maybe I missed something but where do you find the button configuration tool, any driver?

nevermind, got it working after struggling after checking different programs in the TBS folder and the not so intuitive gui.

Hello you two-
Sorry for reopening an old thread, but I'm having the same issues.
I've got an R500, with a clean install of Windows 7, 32 bit (not an upgrade).
I've installed the TVAP drivers, currently with 1.2.34 installed.
My transflective button just launches Internet Explorer. I remember the button configuration utility with Vista, but I do not see that installed with Windows 7. I've tried every .exe file in c:\program files\toshiba, but none launch the utility.
Furthermore, and this is more important to me, I don't have c:\program files\toshiba\tbs\backlight.exe on the system. In fact, there's not even a tbs folder.
I really don't care much about the transflective button itself, it's the feature that I'd like to enable/disable. If I have to create a shortcut to an .exe, that's fine, but I don't know how to get the exe and any associated dll / registry settings installed. Is that the TVAP utility, or something else?
THANKS for the insight!
