Hello all
I have toshiba A200-1HU notebook. I am not able to find any restore point which i have created before several times. Each time it will ask to create new restore point and previous point is not there.
Could some one help me to diagnosis this problem ..

How long ago is the restore point you are trying to find ?? Depending on your restore point settings, it may have been over written with a new one. I hope this helps. God Bless

The area of the hard disk that is reserved for storing restore points is limited. By default, it is 12% of the disk size. Ordinarily, this is plenty, but if you have a smallish disk, and lots of data, you may not be saving many points. To view this number, (XP) right click My Computer, hit Properties, the Restore tab and you'll see the number and also a slide bar to adjust it.
Another reason for Restore Point problems is malware. If you have certain Trojans on your system, they use restore to bring themselves back if they are discovered and removed. You might want to do a system scan to be sure.
Finally, the restore points are saved in a hidden folder called System Volume Information. If you're comfortable with using Recovery Console, or a Linux or similar boot disk, you can go to this folder and see how many points are actually there.
Good Luck.
