I need to restore my satellite 1410. I do not have a restore disc, I can't get one from toshiba, and toshiba will not tell me how to restore without a disc.
    Any help will be appreciated.

Does you computer have a recovery partition? If not, then there is no way without a CD.

EDIT: Unless you use advanced data recovery software to restore the lost partitions. However, that will just bring it back to where it was before, not install a new copy of Windows.

Why won't Toshiba sell you a disc?

When you boot up the computer does it say anything like, "Press F7 to recover". If not then you probably don't have a recovery partition. Did the laptop come with Vista or XP?

Any why exactly won't Toshiba help you?

Satellite 1410 doesn't have recovery partition. You can install Windows XP from standard OEM CD and use serial-number from COA on your laptop. All needed drivers are available on Toshiba website.
