I have a new ws4777 that i won. Great specs for what i need except i hate Vista. I want to install XP Pro and called Toshiba to see if there was a recovery disk/driver disk for XP. No.

So what are the steps? i saw the thread about the m200 "downgrade", is there much difference? What are the odds that all the drivers ( for the s4777)are available for XP pro?

Any help with this? I have been using this unit for a couple weeks on and off and just despise vista. Since this isn't a critical use unit( meaning that i dont use it as my main machine) i may just install XP Pro and see what happens.
Anyone had any luck with the same/similar machine?
