    planning to upgrade bios and video drivers and other drivers on m40 satellite...is it safe..n o problems rite??
    now where exactly should i get these updates from....i have the m40 with geforce 6600 128 mb and the dvd writer...so can some1 give me a link of the site where i can get updates for the same version....and what other updates would be nessessary?? dvd writer drivers...sound drivers etc??? also planning to update video drivers from laptop2govideo forums to version 77.70...any problems with this or will it run fine and better??? need this to run battlefield 2 i think

    I think updating bios and drivers using the offical one is safe. You can get those from here:

    Sometimes you have to update the driver in order to make somethings work properly, like the internal intel 2200gb wireless module and you got the old driver.

    However, I'm holding back if you're updating video driver with unoffical driver. I won't say it's "risky", but sometimes it'll be really nasty if it doesn't match with your computer. If you really need the most updated driver to run the game, then I'll do the update, if not, I'll keep the one I am using unless there is a problem.
