i recently got a toshiba satellite pro L40 and it had windows vista installed.
since i want to free useful memory, i got rid of vista and installed xp pro sp2 and had a bit of trouble finding the drivers...
i managed to find almost all drivers, but i can't get my display brightness to work.
it displays the little window when i hit the hotkeys for the brightness, but the light stays at a very low level and from about 10 levels of brightness, only 2 can be... moved, but still so, it doesn't change the luminosity.
can anyone tell me what can be the problem, what drivers i'm missing and where to get them?
    please!
    regards
