has anyone been able to output to an HDTV with a native resolution of 1920x1080 at full screen with the Toshiba x205-sli1? i haive been messing with the settings and drivers and i have been able to get the output via hdmi cable to fill the entire screen of my HDTV 52lg60. the video format i have selected is 1080p24 in the nvidia control panel. this setting fills the entire hdtv screen but when i run video playback there is a noticeable flicker near the bottom of the video that happens every so often sometimes it happens near the middle of the video aswell. with the 1080p setting there is no flicker but the hdtv screen is not filled there is black bars on all 4 corners of the HDTV. and when i click the resolution it says its 1920x1080 but its not filling the screen. So i am wondering if anyone can help me with this issue or if anyone knows if i can even fix the problem or if i am just being limited by the graphic card's capabilities.

I am running vista 64bit with the latest laptop2go drivers, in the Toshiba,

u need to change a setting in the nvidia control panel. i run at 1080p all of the time with no issues playing games and watching movies. i am at the bar watching the game and can't think of the name of the setting. but it is under the video and television area in the nvidia control panel. the setting basically allows you to expand the image to fill the entire screen.

cant help with the flicker as i don't have that issue. i have ran all kinds of drivers but i am currently running 179.28 downloaded straight from nvidia as they are now releasing laptop drivers.

i tried the nvidia drivers that where on that nvidia site and was able to make it to where you where talking about the resizing the desktop on the hdtv setting and i selected do not re size my desktop. and that did the trick apparently it was resizing my desktop to be smaller, and the drivers i had before did not allow me to change this setting and now it does so thanks for this info. very helpful now that the refresh rate is 60hz there is no flicker
