I'm sure this has been asked a hundred times but I couldn't find anything that was model specific and now the computer is discontinued (no longer on toshiba's
web site) so I've been unable to locate the factory spec's. A call to support produced a "I think you can" response so I thought I'd try here. I have a p305-s8823 Satellite which has an empty drive bay with what appears to be a pre-wired connector. My question is, can I with a drive caddy, install a second drive here, if so, does it have to be identical to the already installed Hitachi drive or can I install a 7200rpm drive?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
