    Hi, I have a Tecra m9 model number PTM90E-05700WEN. o/s XP

I'm trying to use the Product Recovery disc that came with the machine.

    The instructions just state
    1. Insert the first dIsc into the drive and shut down computer
    2. Turn on computer while keeping the F12 key depressed. Use the cursor keys to to select optical disc drive in the menu.
    3. Follow instructions on the screen.

My problem is (1) it refers to (first disc) i only have one, clearly marked Product recovery . I Have NOT lost a disc the only other thing that came with it was the Microsoft product license key.
    XP was pre installed.

    (2) No on screen instructions appear as stated.when i restart the tecra.

Someone suggester holding down the 0 key wile it restarted, this also did not work.

    Regards
