    tecra A9 with problems

    hello all, i have a toshiba tecra a9 and recently its started to have problems,

    1, everytime i close the lid the computer frezzes, i cannot turn it off by the start menu, i have to hold the on button down and restart it tottally.

    2, the mouse pad stops working sometimes, but when i unplug the power supply it starts working again.

    3, the computer sometimes freezes, on or off the net it just stops working and has to be turned of via the on butten and re started.

    4, sometimes a little box comes up in the middle of the screen saying NT AUTHORITY SOLUTION and counts down a minute clock then freezes just like 3 (only just started happening)

    Please help me as these problems are really irratating...

    Sounds like it's time for a reformat.

    Possible that it's some form of malware or a virus. Why don't you try an Antivirus scan or something?

    I have a tecra a9.

    I get problem 1 and 2 if I use xp.
    But I never get them in vista.

    what OS are you using?

    Also on a side note, if you need photos of the motherboard or any other part PM me because I have taken many photos.

    And I have gotten the clock generator (ICS9LPR501SGLF) supported by setfsb.
