    tecra a4 hangups

    whenever i play games (only tried halflife 2) i get a hangup, complete freeze, and it happens everytime.

    i replaced the ram with 2 gigs 3rd party, and have not expierenced lockups otherwise. thanks!

    Can you descibe the problem in a little more depth? I understand the full meaning of what you wrote, but I don't know if the problem is heat related, or otherwise your notebook. What are your notebook's specs?

    it is a tecra a4 s313 w/ 2 gig ram, pentium m 1.83, geforce go6600

    with a heat monitor it reads 55 f on average...

    Not a heat problem - it must either be your GPU or RAM from the information you've given me. Try updating the driver for the GPU and see if that has any effect.
