    hello, i am "happy" satellite m100-179 owner. the most annoying think is fancy fan .witch works every 30sec. even when no cpu load. i installed newest bios (2.40) and newest ati drivers (7.1 , they let graphic card run at fancy 130/270 freq ) - but it doesnt help much. (i also use nhc and low cpu freq like 600mhz).

    my question is.. is this fan run also so often on that models? where is intel graphic card instead of ati x1400? .
    i have this notebook about 3 weeks.. and i find out that i am not using games on it at all ( what i wanted to but.. suddendly i stopped play games). so if the fan on intel gma notebooks is quiet most of time then i probably sell or exchange my unit with gma950 one (on model mentioned in topic).

    looking for any advice.
