    Hello

I have a toshiba Satellite M65-S821. No OS installed yet.
The previous LCD displayed a backlight but and a dark screen.
I diagnosed the issue to be a faulty LCD display.

I purchased a new LCD display online and received it today.
    and installed it as well.
The new display worked fine for a couple of boots, then it
went back to displaying the same way as the previous LCD display.
I went back and opened the laptop to make sure everything was tight
    and have no loose cables.
The LCD now displays a dark screen. When I connect it to an external monitor
their is a display on the external monitor.
    What should I try next?

    kinds regards,
    Mula

Did you get a new inverter when you changed the LCD screen?

    no I did not....
why would you think its the inverter,
I dont think it could be the inverter because their is power going to the display
    the backlight goes on.

you say it's a dark screen. So I think there is not enough power going to the backlight. I may be wrong.
