    toshiba a70 fan noise

    i have a toshiba a70 notebook. :noisyfan:
    can anybody advise me what to do with the very very loud fan noise.

    Hmm...

    If I recall correctly, the A70 has a P4 CPU with an extensive cooling system. You might be experiencing a build up of dust in the notebook, causing the cooling system to be overtaxed.

    CPU fans on Toshiba Satellite A70 and A75 often goes bad. If it's really bad and makes an unusual noise, the only way to fix it - to replace it. You can find one on eBay if you search for A70 fan.
