    toshiba laptop at CES las vegas 2007

    I stay in india. in the news channel few days ago they showed few gadgets displayed at the ces at las vegas. at the toshiba counter for laptop they had displayed a laptop with a transparent body thru which we could see the hardware inside. which laptop was this.
    is there a laptop available with a transparent body. on which site can i view it.

    I am pretty sure that was a display model. You would have to make that yourself if you wanted it. :)

    It was just a demo unit and not really for sale. We saw it while there and shot some video and took some pictures:

    Again, it's just a mockup that won't be for sale. I agree that it'd be really cool if it was though -- I can't wait until the day an manufacturer releases a see through laptop. The thing is, when dust starts to collect inside it won't look so pretty after a few months ;)

    hey abaxter,
    guys like u r so lucky that u stay in the 1st world countries. for people like us even though we r tech savy we have to be just satisfied with pictures and some video clips send by friends like u.
    imagine in india lcd tvs and plasma tvs are catch up but they r far away from reach of common people.
