    i have this laptop and it keeps beeping every ten seconds. the beep is high pitch and it just started today and it doesn't stop. it also just randomly shut off on me without shuting down.

    How much time you had this laptop? If it's been a while, it may be the battery that's starting to act out, maybe it cannot keep its charge.

    Thus would come the noise to alert you that battery life is bad, and the shut downs.

    Just a theory.

    Otherwise, I'm pretty much at a loss at knowing what's wrong. My guess would be some hardware failure though.
