    I am considering purchasing the p30...I am looking for a desktop replacement, and would like to go with a 17" screen. Most of the use will be for multimedia work--graphic design/web design...some video editing. I am interested in the following:

    Toshiba p30
    hp zd 7000
    Sony VGN-A270

    Like I said, I'm leaning toward the Toshiba...can any p30 owners share their opinion? The Sony is awfully expensive...and it seems you don't get as much stuff on it. The hp seems to be pretty loaded...but how does it compare to the p30? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

    Take notice it is not Brightview as the specs claim .
