    does anybody know why i'm only limited to battery optimization and maxium performance in the cooling method area? b/c i would like to access performance option as well. Is this because i have a celeron? (i have the canadian version 7.03.07)

    As far as I know the Celeron doesn't have the ability to speedstep?, but correct me if I'm wrong :p

    Yes, but Speedstep should lock the CPU processing speed in place, not the cooling solution.
