    i bought a toshiba dynabook g3 in tokyo in 2003
    intel PIII 1000mhz+512ram+nvidia geforce2go 64mb+40gbHHDD

    so thet told me this machine is a japan only model, now i am out of japan i am in need to replace a batery and buy accesories and maybe change the jap OS (Xp home) to xp pro in english......so im looking to whawould be the corresponding model outside japan......with same specs, so i can look for compatible parts.

    Don't really know the equivilant.

    But you can look at your battery and write down the part #. Do a search on Ebay.com with it or on the web and see what comes up. That may give you some info.

    Are there any other model #'s on the bottom of the PC? Found this link here with some info http://www.ssfdc.or.jp/japanese/compliance/product/prod003.htm

    The rest is mostly Japanese since like you said it is exclusive to Japan.
