have a toshiba s100 where now blacks are being produced as red, there are fuzzy / like fritzing out spots on the screen interms of shaking like static.

not sure what is going on because when it is displayed to an external monitor things are fine

could this be the lcd screen going bad because of the heat?

Uninstalled video drivers and it still does this....

From your description seems like any issue with the LCD. You have basically tried using aan external monitor which should give you a good idea that the GPU is fine. If you are inquisitive enough you could try reseating the LCD connections, but if the laptop is under warranty getting it replaced is athe best shot.

Yeah - it sounds like a bad screen - you might want to check your LCD properties and see if the system is running at its native resolution - if it's not, try setting it to that and see if that has any effect on the problem.
